NeuralCam Live app says it’s not connected on my iPhone

First, make sure your iPhone is connected to your Mac with an USB cable. 

Then, access https://neural.cam/check from a compatible browser (Note: Safari does not support virtual webcams) and verify if the app is displayed as a webcam option.

If the webcam is displayed as a webcam option but the feed is a green screen, try unplugging and replugging the USB cable, the feed should start in about 5 seconds.

If the webcam is displayed as a webcam and the feed works, you’re good! You can now use NeuralCam Live in any browser-based or supported video call apps.

I can’t see the NeuralCam Live webcam as an option in my browser

First, make sure you’re not using Safari, as Safari does not support any type of virtual webcam at the moment.

Then, make sure your browser is updated to the latest version.

I can’t see the NeuralCam Live webcam as an option in my video call app

Make sure your video call app is updated to the latest version. 

Note: not all video call apps support virtual webcams, so if you encounter one that doesn’t, please send us an email over at [e-mail] and we’ll do our best to add support in the future.

The NeuralCam Live webcam feed turned into a green screen, what should I do

If the webcam is displayed as a webcam option but the feed is a green screen, disable and enable your webcam from your meeting controls.

If that doesn’t work, try unplugging and re-plugging the USB cable, the feed should start in about 5 seconds.

How do I uninstall the NeuralCam Live plugin from my Mac?

In order to uninstall the NeuralCam Live Plugin, you’ll have to navigate to the following path on your Mac: “Library -> CoreMediaIO -> Plugins -> DAL”

Here, you should be able to identify the NeuralCam Live Plugin and delete it.

That’s it, the NeuralCam Live Plugin is now uninstalled from your Mac.

How do I remove the NeuralCam Live watermark (logo)

Go to Settings, then toggle the “Watermark” logo based on your preference.

Can I mirror the feed with NeuralCam Live

Yes, in Settings, you’ll have an option to mirror your camera feed.
